We had our monthly writer's meet-up today. It was so hot the cooling in the building couldn't cope. We ended up cutting the meeting short by hours because Itzl was suffering from the heat.
For the brief time we met, it was a good meeting. We discussed current writing projects, plans, and exchanged some tips. No one got paid for publishing, and several had works out to crit.
We also had some decent pizza and Italian sodas.
Next meet-up will probably be skimpy as it will be August. August has traditionally been a low-attendance meeting. Things pick up in September.
